Now 250,000 for the cheapest room, so bigger travellers might want to shop around a bit, there are 100k options in town.
Staff are nice though and the beds and linen are luxurious. Downsides are no running water, no sink, and only five hours of electricity.

Came here after reading great reviews. No George here when we arrived and staff didn’t know who he was. Possibly this has changed hands ! Anyway, sat and had 4 beers for 25000 G then checked room. For 200000 G we had no running water, no loo seat, no lights and dirty. We left and went to Hotel Zephyr. Much better see report.

A typical one star Guinean hotel. Bucket shower and no running water. Sanitary installations old and non functional. Rooms are clean but very tired. Electricity only from 18:00 til late. Electrical installation dubious. No food at hotel or vicinity. Owner offers to bring you food on his motorbike from restaurant far away. We paid 200,000GNF for a room, probably overpriced but not much competition in the area, and 6,000 for a beer.

Highly recommended.

This is an African-type hotel arranged as one-storey chalets in a shady walled garden, with a bar and restaurant. The normal facilities: bucket shower, electricity evenings until late, fan, nets. Running water is being installed now. Good location near the centre, but private and safe.

It is also nicely-welcoming, clean-smelling, and the owners are delightful. It has been in the same family ownership for three generations.

Camara (George) is a great guy. Very open, friendly, hospitable and helpful. He gave up hours of his time to sort out a problem for me, and then we shared a few beers and dinner while his charming little daughters entertained us.

As I told him, this was the first time I have felt "chez moi" for weeks. So instead of moving on I changed my plans to be able to rest up here for a couple of days.

expensive for what it is and loud - call to prayer at 5am and annoying beeping noise in room most of night. Electricity some of the time, no running water.

We stayed there with our rig for 100 k after short négociation (no toilet though). The owner is very friendly and super helpful (only French though). He took me at the market with his motocycle to get vegetables and sells beers for quite cheap (6 to 9k). He also made us try the palm wine, wich is very good (ask for "vin de palme"). He definetly needs to set up some facilities for overlanders, I hope soon enough. Hardly recommend a stop here as wild camping in the area is not that easy.

They asked me 200.000 CFA for a room. I showed praice who paied others people (150.000) and he did tò me the same.

Great place to stay. Get Gamera the owner to take you to the small restaurant about 1.5klms away. Great food, good price. Power from 6 or 7pm. No running water.

Possible to camp in parking lot and use room for bucket shower and toilet.
They are currently renovating and the owner was kind enough to show us his plans for the property. If these plans truly come to life, it will be a great place for overlanders with private campsites, running showers, toilets, and a sink for dishes and laundry.
They also have cold beer !

Hotel in renovation where you can camp and use a toilet and a bucket shower 200 000Gfa we did not negociate. The owner is really nice but the place needs TLC

It is also possible to camp here. They first ask 150.000 (same price as a room). We said that is was to expensive and 70.000 was also fine. You can use the toilet with bucket water in a room. Also washing the clothes was no problem, we could make our own price. 70.000 For all our clothes (and it was a lot, normally 3 times washing!) was oke. They are friendly people and nice garden with shadow.
