Latest Check-Ins
We stayed in high season and we managed to find some parking spots around 21h30. About 22h30 the parking was full.
For CAMPERVANS: good spot, there were some in the parking without any problems.
For people with TENTS: we parked at the end of the parking and placed the tent next to the car on the grass. It was quite noisy up to midnight, but then it was ok.
HINT: the day after we found the beginning of a path called "Sentee di Sort" (you can see it in the app "Maps.me"): when you're facing the cemetery, it's to the right of it (at night it was quite dark so we didn't see it, headlamps should be useful). There is plenty of space to put tents by the path (flat terrain to the right of the path), with the plus of being more hidden, in a more quiet spot, with a bit of a view to the lake. If we had known we would've put our tent there. Don't know about animals though.
In any case, the sentier is a chill 5-10min walk to a nice belvedere over the lake. There are benches where you could have breakfast in the morning. We added a picture of the view of the belvedere.
Be prepared for mosquitos.
Report Check-Inok spot for a night. We arrived ~9pm. Lot was full but we were on a moto so parked on the edge of the grassy are where we put our small tent. A few people arrived late/left early the next day but no issues. Ok for 1-2 small tents; better for camping cars if you can find a spot.

If you sleep with car, the parking can be full after 22h.
It s better to come before
Nice for a night or two. The locals are super friendly. Felt strange camping by a cemetary at first but no one seemed to fuss. Sometimes not so quiet at night but otherwise just fine for a free sleeping spot.
Warning about two things:
This spot is mosquito heaven. Be prepared.
The first night we were there, we encountered wild hogs. No problems, but can be dangerous.
