Small pull off on the side of a scenic road. Just off the main road that takes you to Alamere Falls. I didn’t feel comfortable at the trailhead before dark with the “permit needed to camp” signs posted. Cars/vans fit perfect here.
Room for a few cars if there is company and there is an additional smaller spot up the road. I didn’t drive the whole thing so there could be other spots available for a willing small car.

Fabulous, flat, quiet spot with incredible view of Stinson & Bolinas Bay! Couple cars drove by during night but no one bothered us!
Report Check-InReally wasn't sure about this one, since some posts said the gate had been 'cut open'. The more recent posts seem to suggest it's actually open, and the unlocked padlock at the entrance all but confirmed that for me. Currently dealing with mice in the vehicle so I opted to tent in the smaller pulloff maybe 40 feet past this one (there are tons along the road). Parked on a friday night around 11 or 12 pm. Woke up at 6:30 to deconstruct the tent and didn't see the first bicyclist until 7:30 or 8. First cars around 8:30. Perfect spot for overlanding, and definitely a decent spot to tent if necessary. Also saw two coyotes up on the ridge as I got out the tent so that was cool!
Report Check-InGot quiet around 8pm and stayed quiet till 8am. Enough area for three SUVs or campervans to stay here. Quiet peaceful. On cliff side overlooking lagoon
Report Check-Inwe slept here overnight just fine! minimal road noise and 2 bars verizon LTE
Report Check-InSmall pull off with nice view of the bay, pretty level, and 2-3 bars Verizon LTE.
Report Check-Inpretty much as the other descriptions. traffic was minimal then died after 7 or 8 pm, and hella quiet til 8 ish the next day, and not even busy then. good vibes, flat enough spot, quite good Verizon service. be mellow, don't blow up the spot, and this should work well for folks.
dunno why I can't adjust the stars, but I'd give it at least a 4 outta 5 for a hella pleasant overnight spot.
Report Check-InStill accurate as described in other reviews, very few cars passing once dark and still none at 8:30am (spring weekday morning).
Report Check-InLevel spot with a nice view. No cars passed on this side street, from 8pm to about 6am. In the morning cars started coming down, probably camped further up or taking the scenic route through the hills.
Report Check-Inbig pullout. worked for a RTT. excellent view of the ocean and lagoon. Decent T mobile service
