Something not right?

Description

Parking at the entrance of the National Park. 2000 C/night. Flat area between road and jungle. Baños of the NP-Entrance available 8-17 o'clock. Kölbi-Internet-Reception. You can sleep in your car or even a tent. Rocky surface, so tent is maybe not that confortable. Nothing fancy, but not expensive and we even saw a coati the moment we arrived :)

Latest Check-Ins

For information it is possible to park your car for free 500m further along the roadside (in direction of north west). Also becareful you have to do your reservation online to enter in the NP, there is a WiFi on site but it was not working when we came here. Network with Liberty is very slow, so I recommend to do your reservation before to come here.

We left our motorhome here for going to the waterfall. We paid 2.000 CRC, but the man give us permission to sleep here.
Good for a night. And you can use the Wi-Fi from the park or one of the restaurants in front off.
No Claro signal. Liberty 3G.

If you are self-contained and want to stay in the area after or before visiting the Rio Celeste Section of the NP: this is a good option. If you ask they let you park here through the night for free (just the regular parking fee of 2.000 Colonnes). Quiet at night, just a few cars will pass. No services (maybe toilets during park hours), no Wifi, no cell reception of Claro. Looks like Kölbi might work. Restaurants and tiendas around, open during park hours.
