This is a gem of a campground right next to a beautiful black beach. We paid $37 per night for a dry campsite. Bathrooms are clean and showers are free. There is a dump station and potable water fill up. Sites are spacious and gorgeous!

Very nice state park. We arrived around 730 pm and did not have a reservation. Picked up yellow phone (good until 8pm) and also talked to a ranger. He said we can just pay in the morning when office opens which we did. Very clean bathrooms. Stayed near office and it was very quiet overnight. Spots near the ocean were pretty full/close together. We have 2 dogs so wanted a little room. Looks like probably a hoppin place in summer. Staff and Ranger very nice and helpful. Paid $25 for dry camp spot. Also were able to dump and fill with potable water. Hiked in the morning. Well worth it.
Report Check-In$30 Loop C no services. Ask for Loop D if you are in a small van or tent for $25. Short walk to the beach. Some sections are closed for winter already.
No cell service as others have mentioned.
Water and dump still open. Water in each loop, but not threaded.
A little more expensive. $40.00 for a hookup. $30.00 without. Very full on a weekend. Suggest on-line booking or showing up early. Single vehicle per campsite. Great location though! Right next to the beach if you book one of the west loop sites.
No cell service.
Report Check-InGreat place, but still no cell phone coverage while in the park by the beach. Starlink works great when you have exposure to the sky.
Report Check-InBeautiful campsite right on the beach. Free hot showers when you stay the night. No cell reception if that’s what you’re looking for. We paid $30 for a basic site. No hookups. They do have partial and full hookup sites for more money.
Report Check-InReally great State Park with a magic beach. We paid $40 for a site with 30 amp and water. Almost no ATT signal.
Report Check-InCamped two nights in very cold weather, mid-20’s or so. Stayed cozy in my truck camper shell with my dogs. Clean sites and nice hot shower. Saw bald eagles and had some raccoon visitors in the night. Short walk to the beach and view of the lighthouse.
Report Check-InBeautiful park! We camped 1 night in Loop B and it was quiet, clean, and pristine. We were just feet from the black sand beach. The bathrooms were clean, the campsites are spacious, and the firewood was plentiful. There's lots to see in and around the park. We will definitely be coming back here!
Report Check-InA dry campsite by a lake for $25/night, with a water spigot 50 feet away. I used a 1/2" pipe nipple into the blue faucet bib with two connector hoses to fill up my rig.
Report Check-InAmazing!
Enjoyed Area B site. rolling waves. scooped up a last minute cancelation for the night.
Awesome campsite, nice clean showers, $30 / night for 1 person tent camping
Report Check-InBeautiful campgrounds, the beaches are a dark grey/black mix. The wildlife is abundant, we saw many species of birds including six eagles! There is a light house on the cape.
