Description

We stayed here for one night without any problems. It's a big parking area for the park and sport center. No one will notice you. Parked at the very left side next to a tree. You can also go for a walk in the park. There are toilets, drinking water station and showers inside of the art center building as also in the ice hockey arena. In both building there is wifi, but it doesn't reach out to the parking area. Can recommend it. Not many cars passing by. Small kiosk on the side.

Just as the comments say. Big sport complex surrounded by park/greenery with big parking lots. No disturbance overnight. Cars started trickling in around 7am. Good spot for a free night!
Found some waste (fruit peels and earplugs) on the ground where I parked, pretty sure from other vanlifers. c'mon people, don't be pigs!

Large parking lot. If you park far enough away from arenas and recreation center, you shouldn't have too much noise.

Huge complex with a ton of places to park. I called the rec center and they said it was fine to park overnight.

Great spot. Quite a few others, but there's plenty of room. It's fairly flat, maybe 1°.

Stayed for one night, was driving to Vancouver from Jasper. It was quiet and felt safe. Two other cars were parked overnight as well. Took a walk around the park in the morning with the dog and restrooms were open.

We stayed 3 nights with a 29 feet RV. We didn't liked the place. So many people come all day long, starting early. Children scream very loud from the water park. During the night few cars come and turn, make noises, we were in alert. It's OK for one night but not more.

Spent a night. Great sports complex and the recreation is good for showering too. Nearby trails for walking dogs. Quiet at night but can get busy during the day.

Big parking lot, loud until 10pm. we had a goodnight sleep with no disruption. Nice walking path in the back forest if you have a dog.

Spent a night, super convient since you can get a shower in the morning. Met a local who was curious but very friendly and mentioned some other spots near the water (they're all listed already).

Around midnight a few cars were racing around the lot, seemed like kids joyriding on the weekend. It was quiet for the rest of the night though.

Grand stationnement dans un parc sportif. Le personnel très avenant nous a permis de prendre nos douches au Centre sportif pour 2$. Le centre ferme à 18h. Je recommande. Nous y avons passé une nuit en soute tranquillité et en toute sécurité.

Private and quiet at night, porta potties with sink in the parking lot. We were here on Labour Day weekend — got woken up by a full parking lot on Saturday morning 8am. Not sure if it’s always like that on the weekend!

Nous avons dormi une nuit, c'était parfait. Les personnes sont parties vers 22-23h et nous étions au calme. Des douches sont à disposition pour 2$ et des toilettes propres au centre d'art et de sport !

Really nice city park with a lot of stuff to do. It can get noisy early in the morning on weekends (there was a pickleball tournament when we were there). There is no “No overnight” signs, i think it is just tolerates as long as there is no abuse.
