Beautiful spot on the lake, we went all the way down to the end and had the place to ourselves. A bit of trash around and some poison oak to watch out for but easily avoidable

Pretty lake, but honestly a little creepy here. we went to the turnaround towards the end and parked there because there was nice shade and good views of the lake, but there was a bundle of black trash bags with hundreds of shotgun shells all around them on the ground. Then after 20 mins of setting up a car pulls up to the right of us and drove up a small hill, and started shooting guns. They were only about 200 feet away from us. Not sure if the views/ease are worth the slight fear and unease of being here.
Also, there aren’t really potholes so much as long patches of super uneven ground. Just drive take it slow and you’ll be fine, if you want to risk the sound of gunshots echoing off the canyon walls!

Quite a few spots on the water, go all the way to the end of the road for large turn around and the best spots imo. No Verizon, spotty T-mobile. Nice for kayaking and swimming and trail up into canyon. Lots of rattlesnakes and bugs. 3 day limit.

Great place to camp. I recommend driving all the way to the end (great spot), then turning around and finding a spot driving back out, many to choose from. Lake seemed clean enough to swim. Lots of bugs at night. The tiny tiny ones that come through your screen at night, so we had to bake with the windows closed. Hopefully it won't bug you!

Lots of spaces,
Rolled in after dark
Plenty of trash strewn about
One carcass in camp generally a pretty area but pretty busy overall
Fine for an overnight stop

we didn't drive in to far. we found a great spot up on a small bluff.

Beautiful view. Down a road that requires some clearance. We have 36 foot travel trailer. There is room to turn around at the end. Not good for swimming but could just be the time of year. It is definitely quiet here.
No Verizon signal but AT&T has 4 bars and great 4g.

Absolutely beautiful - clean lake for swimming, huge cliffs. We stayed about 1/4 mile further down the gravel road from these coordinates. Unfortunately lots of broken glass, trash, and a guy rolled in about 10am Tuesday for some target practice. Ugh. Also the road has a lot of potholes so take it slow. Stayed 2 nights in our 31ft class C.

The entrance is on the right side of the road heading north just before the levy bridge. There is a sign that states Public Fishing with an arrow. This gravel road wraps around the lake.
