Something not right?

Description

If you follow the road north it will lead you to the beach. We didn't follow it all the way, there is a little village further north. The beach is nice and firm and didn't need to air down. Other than a few cars, and people on horseback, had the beach all to ourselves!

Latest Check-Ins

Very nice place to stay. I parked a little before well protected by the sand dune.
Some people came during the day to visit the beach but it’s very quite place and suitable for big rig.

Report Check-In

we wanted to stay but the water to get to the beach was deep and not doable with our rig. we had a nice time walking this beach though. there's a lot of fighting off the annoying bugs here so we wouldn't have liked chilling here

Report Check-In

Quiet, suitable for big RVs, bikes, tents...
Windy!
Good 3G from Entel.

Report Check-In

The sand is indeed hard so it is possible to drive on it with a campervan but we didn't feel safe staying there, afraid of getting trapped in the sand, and the spot is very close to the sea, don't know how it's like when there are storms
So we didn't stay here at the end

Kilometers of beach and dunes where you can find a nice spot to settle down anywhere. You can drive further north for another 4.5 km up to a passenger bridge. If you stay on the track, there is no need for 4x4. Locals even drive through the river/ estuary during low tide. From the bridge you can start a nice hike along the rocky coast. Don’t forget to take some money with you. The locals of the village there will charge you 1000 CLP pp because the track leads through their “private” land.

Report Check-In

Huge area with some protection from the wind behind dunes. Spectacular views for miles along the beach. Deep, soft sand near the dunes for which 4low was required.

Report Check-In

Real nice beach to camp on. Very quiet. Saw cows;that's about it.

Report Check-In

Nice Beach camp minus the relentless big black and orange flys.

Report Check-In

Once you access the beach around the last dune, you can drive up or down the beach for kilometers either direction and camp wherever you want. The sand is hard wherever it looks moist and can be driven in any vehicle. It is softer up around the dunes. We got slightly buried and had to use 4x4 to tuck in close to the dunes.
