Even though the owner was not there when we arrived, he answered the doorbell on his phone and let us sleep in front of his building where he has cameras. We slept well, not too noisy even with the bar at the second floor and we felt very safe.

Super kind folks here! They made me feel welcome and ensured I was parked safely. Helped me find a mechanic for my Sprinter. The wifi was out and the music was QUITE loud at night, but it felt safe and welcoming.

Excelente lugar.

Not the quietest road, but about the only downside to this place. Free showers (inc shampoo and towels), WiFi and use of hostel communal areas.

Breakfast was delicious and a bargain at 15p/p. Luis really went out of his way to welcome us. Can’t believe it’s free, all they wanted was a review which they more than deserve.

Felt like a safe residential area. Great place to access the city from.

We arrived in Guatemala City late in the afternoon and messaged Axel. He was out of town, but was happy for us to camp outside for free.

Like previous posts, we were provided free access to the showers, kitchen, social area and wifi.

Luis looked after us, supplying us with cold beers and prepared us breakfast in the morning for 30q.

We arrived on Independence Day and found the road surprisingly quiet for most of the night.

Would highly recommended stooping here if visiting the city

Save place to stay in Guatemala City, Very friendly, Tato received us very well. We slept in the street and was very safe. We used showers, bathroom and kitchen. Axel wasnt there this time. We went to the historical center by bus, Very easy. Incredible reception of them. We recomended.

Same as described below. A great option to park your rig right next to the hostel. No height restriction and quiet at night.

Be sure to park on the road that does NOT have the convenience store. People hang around that convenience store all day and night.

Clean shower and toilet facilities.

Axel, the owner, did not charge us to stay. But we bought several beers on our last night there.

Highly recommend!

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

The owner of the HOSTEL is soooo incredibly kind. Beautiful unique hostel!! We parked out front on and off while trying to figure out our plans due to coronavirus. They invited us to have a BBQ and liked our dogs! There is a little grass for the pups. They even offered free showers and restrooms... this is rare. Would recommend this spot if your in Guatemala City. Also I came in for Beer and they allowed us to use the WiFi outside.

The humans of Guatemala ARE so kind! Thank you 🙏🏼

Such a great place we feel very welcome here! The restaurant is great too, absolutely check it out! There is also a mechanic right next door where we are fixing our dodge roadtrek right now.

Still here and available for overlanders to park on the street outside. There are security cameras, although we did not see a guard. The street is safe and pretty quiet though. Axel, the owner, is very kind and allowed us to use the WiFi, bathroom, kitchen and shower-and let our dog inside-all for free! Incredibly kind. We ate breakfast everyday which is great, and a great price. Definitely recommend!
