Truck stops are always noisy but they have restrooms and private showers ($12). Water in the restrooms to fill up bottles. Only non-potable water at the dump. You can also use McDonalds free Wifi from inside your van or RV. Bigger rigs should consider staying on the truck site. But don't use slide-outs. Truckers don't always see slide-out awnings or rooms and stuff when they pull out. Can get nasty. Also it's rude to block spots.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Spots in cali can be hard to come by but this was a nice easy one off the highway. Called and asked permission to stay overnight and they said no problem, people stay all the time. Some noise per usual but we had a great night’s sleep. Another RV stayed the night we did. Would stay again.
Report Check-InVery noisy but had no trouble staying here for one night in our van. Next to train tracks and the highway so be warned! We were able to get free wifi from our parking spot though and it made it worth it to get some good planning time in. Follow along on insta @woodysvanlife!!
Report Check-InLoves Truck Stop. Can park up to 24 hrs per attendant. There's freight train but it doesn't sound its horn so it was fine overnight.
Report Check-Inshould be noted that there are train tracks directly across the street
