Irvington Lodge road rest area.
Easy overnight, bit busy on Tuesday morning.
Dog Friendly. Signs state no overnight but 6 rigs here.

We just stopped for lunch. Clean restrooms. I'm pretty sure that if you stay no longer than 8 hours, that should not be an issue even if it says no overnight parking

Really nice rest stop that goes back into the woods a little. Super quiet, only a few other cars here even on Labor Day Weekend

Arrived late at night. Sleep good coz so quite. Morning is a little louder from the highway. But so far so good.

Report Check-In

A rather unusually shaped circular rest area with clean restrooms and a water faucet to fill a jug or with a water bandit you could attach a hose to fill a tank. Nice picnic and dog walk area and minimal Verizon signal. Lots of spaces for trucks of big rigs in a separate lot with pull through spaces. Nice cool nighttime temperatures even in August.

It is allowed to rest for a maximum time of 8h in any 24h period, see photos for new information sign.

We arrived at around 9:30pm and left at around 7am. No problems st least to bigger RVs stayed also the night and some other cars came and left over the night and stayed for some hours.

Stayed from 20:00-10:30 overnight without issue in my Travato. I think I was the only campervan, some other people pulled in and slept in their cars. There are big signs that say to the effect "No overnight stays or camping." Closeish to the highway but still pretty quiet.

Beautiful little rest stop near a creek. Bathrooms were moderately clean. Potable water from a spigot outside near the out of use pay phone. Lots of picnic tables. Stayed overnight and didn’t have any trouble. Talked with some of the cal trans guys working the next morning and they were welcoming.

Exceptionally nice rest stop however it is signed as no overnight parking or camping so I didn’t stay. But a really great place to avail yourself of the restrooms, nap, picnic and rest. A gem of a rest stop!

Restroom very clean. Good play to rest and throw trash away. Sign says no overnight parking but rested from 5am-7am

Great reception, I’ve been doing video conferences off of att and Verizon no problem. There’s a large dirt pull out on the road just after you exit 101. Look for a route down to the river, I did everything in 2wd in a yukon xl with an extended hitch rack.only issue is you can hear 101

Spent the night with no problems. Arrived @20:00 and left @06:00.
This plase still good as a rest stop. See signage in photos.

nice and quiet night. There is a no overnight parking sign but we talked with guardian: law says 'no sleep' in the car but you can rest for 8 hours... so if someone knock at your door: say you are resting and it should be OK for the entire State.

Beautiful and quiet rest stop. Located well off the highway in the forest next to a creek. Has ample parking for RVs and smaller vehicles. Includes a small tree-covered park, clean bathrooms with water, picnic tables, garbage and recycling. Very quiet at night and beautiful spot in the morning. Spent the night with several other campers and had no ideas, stayed for 12 hours. Keep this place beautiful and use the provided trash bins. No cell service with AT&T, one bar service on Verizon.
