Latest Check-Ins

Lots of primitive campsites with firepits along the road, we chose this second to last. Great access to the river for fishing. Had two others on either side, but the sites are large and have lots of space between. My only complaint was the road coming in, really bumpy and uneven in sections. Doable without 4wd though. Beautiful spot!

This is a busy free campground. Sites are far from each other, good privacy, and big spaces. Only porta-potties bathrooms in the parking lot, which can be far from the site. Certain sites have good access to the river, which is beautiful. Downtown nearby, good access to groceries and services. Special mention to Ed of Swisher Automotive shop who helped us press bearings to rebuild rear axles. Starlink was excellent, Google Fi was not good for data.

These coordinates get to you the main area but not quite to the camping area. Go past where the coordinates take you and make a left at the end of the street. You have to go downhill on a somewhat skinny and steep road to get down to the bottom. I don’t think really big rigs would be a good idea on that road coming down. Better suited for rugged shorter trailers and vans.

Great spots here, much better than the campgrounds across the river I think. Nice spots that are well spaced. Road getting in is a little rocky and bumpy but fine for most cars. Made it fine with my minivan just go slow. Cel service is slow but here.

Lots of designated spots along this road to camp. Beautiful and quiet. The dirt road in is a little rough with lots of rocks and potholes. My 1995 Ford van struggled a bit but I think most cars would be fine. Very large camping spots with fire pits.

Report Check-In

Very quiet spaces, road down into the campsites is quite narrow and has some holes but nothing too crazy. No AT&T cell service. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spot. Quiet and so close to the river. We have a truck bed camper and the route we took down was a little tight. Might be an entrance we missed.
