woke up in the morning to a parks and rec guy saying camping overnight was not allowed. said he was ready to start impounding vehicles. I will not be returning to this location.Report Check-In
Great spot for an overnight sleep. We arrived around 9pm and left around 9:30am. There are flush toilets and sinks at the bathroom in the park here. They were still open at 10pm and 8:30am the next morning - not sure if they were ever actually closed for overnight. We were the only ones parked here and no one bothered us. This seems to be a common area for walking in the morning, but still very quiet.Report Check-In
Stayed a night with no problems. Gets a little noisy in the morning but quite pleasant at night. Seems like a lot of kind seniors walk the trail directly behind it though.Report Check-In
arrived 11pm, left 7.30am, wasn't disturbed at all. But there was a massive racoon lurking and looking for a snack, didn't bother us though.Report Check-In
Nice night but on the morning, some gardeners come to me to tell me that a mit of people come sleep here, like 3 or 4 cars per night, and it's not very popular with the neighborhood
So no more nights here
Fairly quiet, dogs allowed (good space for them to run beside a small playground) and access to toilets. (The ladies toilet seems to open even when locked) Great spot!
Update - I stayed 4 nights (too long - I know!) and had a chat with the OakBay police my last morning. They were very kind, but let me know I needed to find somewhere else.
we parked here again and a security guard came at 9am to ticket us cause it's in a park...which is definitely not clearly indicated. Finally we just said that we were travelling and no ticket neither warning.Report Check-In
