New ownership of a couple of well-traveled partners from the US, originally. Very welcoming and informative on the history of Nicaragua and surrounding countries, as well as places to visit! There are a few rooms available so it feels more private, which really adds to the comfortability of the place! As of now, the downstairs is a cozy beach front restaurant and bar with small bungalow type rooms on the second floor. $35 USD per night for a room with 1 queen - breakfast included. No AC, but there are fans and it’s relatively cool at night. Great surf & boards available to rent, nearby lessons too. We were able to park our van on the street right in front & there is someone keeping an eye on it at night - safe neighborhood though. Really cute place if you’re looking for something beachy, laidback, and simple - for a lack of better words (:

small, really nice house right at the beach opened by a fellow motorcycle traveller. offers simple but beautiful rooms, place has a nice breeze, some space for parking.

notice: really small place. not for camping or big rigs.
matt was still busy building the place up when i was there.
