Report Check-Inin for no extra cost with my NP pass. All NP in all states for $80 for the year. Good deal. Volcano is 7877 feet elevation at the top where you can drive to. awesome views.
Report Check-InEntrance fee now $20 but a worthwhile stop. 1 mile loop trail on rim; 1/4 mile trail down into crater. spectacular views.
Report Check-InWinter pictures, the rim trail was very worth it, even though I had to wade through hip deep snow on on the north rim, I went clockwise, I'd recommend going Counterclockwise, especially in winter the sun melts the snow on the south rim, I also think it is not as steep, this is potentially skewed because the deepest snow are on the steepest points.
