Small campground right on Potomac River. Boat access ramp. About 9 sites. $20 per night reservation required through recreation.gov. 50% off with pass. No trash services. Pit toilets. No water. Tents and small RVs only. Super small trailer might fit. Right on the C & O Canal trail, very beautiful .

As described National Forest Campground on the Potomac right next to the C & O Canal Trail. $20 per night. 50% off with senior or access pass. Reservations required through recreation.gov. Pit toilets. NO TRASH PICKUP so pack it out. Sites are tent sites or big enough for vans and small RVs. Even small trailers 15’ would have to work it to fit on the pads. Essentially no Verizon service at the camp but two bars on the other (north) side of the Maryland Rail Trail that is elevated and just north of the campground.
Report Check-InNice campground. Near water. Saw campers with 3 tents pitched. However, sign says no overnight camping
Report Check-InGreat spot to sleep in the off season. I made us a reservation on recreation.gov app and paid the $10 but you probably didn’t have to. We never saw another person. Great quiet place to spend the night. AT&T service was mediocre.
Report Check-InSmall campground right on Potomac River. Boat access . About 10 sites fee area but I was there in April off season and no collection box found. Canal trail very beautiful .
