Description
Group of men pulled up rope in the road and asked for 50 peso donation. Did not feel dangerous and they were not masked. It was a rural spot in the road and to avoid any trouble just gave them 50p. We loved Chiapas-especially the Comitan/Ocosingo area and plan to come back! This is a heads up but we hope it doesn't discourage from visiting this area.
