Lincoln National Forest campground with 12 sites. Potable water was available. Nice hiking trail on the east end of the campground. Well-maintained gravel road the last 5 miles to site. Our campsite fit 24’ rig easily and needed little leveling. 2 to 3 bars of Verizon service. The price per night was $15.

Sign posted at beginning of the road several miles after petroglyph site. Campground is still closed as of this date
Report Check-InThe road is marked as closed beyond the petroglyphs. We were told there was a recent fire and work is being done to reopen. We camped at the petroglyphs.
Report Check-InGreat place to spend a few days! Come prepared with food and stay a while. The hikes are enjoyable and not too strenuous albeit at 7,000ft plus. Nights are blissfully quiet. Decent AT&T signal which was a total surprise.
