Description
We arrived very late in the night and parked on the basketball court, but there is also a plain grassy area next to it. A man came out of his house to check on the noise of the car and said we wouldn't have problems camping there. There is also a public toilet with shower and sinks outside, next to the volleyball court, some meters away from there. In the morning, people didn't seem concerned with our presence. Very nice and friendly place. Free.

Asked if I could camp and was told no. Not real friendly people. Left and headed further south….
Report Check-InPerfect place to sleep before or after the border. I could had a shower and enter to the bathroom but the next day when my husband was going to shower there was no Water (maybe someone took it off). It was a ghost town but it worked perfect for us, quiet.
Report Check-InNice place to spend the night before crossing into Peru. Although, if it’s rainy season, you may want to park on the road and walk on the green grass to inspect for muddy areas before driving in.
No showers or bathrooms or electricity that we found. But there are bathrooms in the nearby tienda in the back corner of town. So you can buy some beers or snacks from the tienda in exchange for toilet privileges.
Report Check-InRooftop tent camped on the grassy area next to the court. Moved under the roof of the court when it started to rain in the middle of the night. Friendly people, very quiet, free public toilets, shower and sinks available nearby. Nearby store sells cold beer.
