Latest Check-Ins

this place is still fine to park overnight, some areas have 4h parking, otherwise there's still permanent RVs here and I've been sleeping here every night in my CR-V.

Report Check-In

Heaps off campers on the side of the road. Looks like a lot of permanent ones, some even had a generator on on the sidewalk. Stayed for just 1 night, bit of street noise but not too bad.

Report Check-In

Slept here for a few nights. Had no issues. There's at least 2 streets here you can park on. These a bunch if RVs parked here that look permanent, but there were a couple other campers. Can get a little noisy in the mornings as trucks drive by, but it's otherwise a great spot

Report Check-In

good street parking. not a through street. No signs disallowing parking. At the end of the street it dead ends and there is a wall of trees to park next to.

Report Check-In

Street parking in a commercial/industrial neighbourhood. Can get noisy. But with those many campers parked around, you know you will not get annoyed by the police.

Report Check-In

As described. Good service, quiet, out of town. There were signs that said 4 hr parking only but tons of other rvs here.

Report Check-In

Street parking available with an RV community in front of Capilano Mall. Safe. Wasn't bothered. Fairly quiet. Access to Save-On or Wal-Mart bathrooms and weak wifi.

Report Check-In

As stated, not too many people parked in the actual Walmart lot, but plenty of opportunity on the surrounding streets. Solid option and quiet enough for a night.

bayshore drive day parking.

Overnight parking is prohibited at Walmart but accepted in neighboring streets. There are several RVs stationed there all the time and they don't move all day. We stayed there for 4 nights without a problem despite being noisy. Easy access to Stanley Park where I recommend you park at
bayshore drive day parking.

Report Check-In

the area is extremely busy! I arrived on a Tuesday afternoon hoping to call it an early night, but street parking was near impossible (im fairly confident campers aren't welcome inside the lot itself as it isn't very big but also very busy). I think arriving later in the day (especially on a weekday) is key.

Report Check-In

Stayed next to Walmart at the street for some nights, you can see the other vans standing there, it's a popular spot. Walmart has toilets and wifi sometimes can be accessed at the street but only little signal.

Report Check-In

Stayed 2 different nights with no problem. The wifi near Save on Foods le great! Bathrooms till 11 pm.

Report Check-In

Side streets off the side of Walmart filled with campervans and Rvs. We stayed here one night with no problemos.

Report Check-In

Got a ticket after just 1 day, 40$ and slow WiFi.

Report Check-In

Lots of other RVs/Vans parked on the street near here. No one seems to park in the walmart lot. Stayed one night and it seems fine. No issues. Walmart has Mcdonalds in it also.

Report Check-In

Lots of side streets to explore near walmart for overnight stay. Great spot with water and downtown VC view 200 mtrs south from walmart. Popup Toilet, picknick tables and a nice trail for walking "Spirit trail". Water station also available in doggy park at the water. At 3rd street there is an RV with very kind Irish (?) guy in it, he calls himself "Viny". He is a mechanic and offers car repairs of all sorts. Also great tipps for local seightseeing spots other than mainstream.

Report Check-In

During our time in Vancouver we slept there almost 8 nights without difficulties, never had a trouble and always a lot of others campers some are permanent resident but never bothered us! Not the greatest place but felt safe and was free !

Report Check-In

We stayed here for three nights. Good spot to explore Vancouver. 25min walk to the ferryterminal. Ferry brings you to downtown Vancouver. There are some other camper on the street, looks like they are here all the time (always the same campers, same places). Street is pretty busy during the day but we had no problems to sleep. Seems to be a safe spot.

Report Check-In

Good spot for a stay in the city. The Walmart is part of the mall, which has toilets, food court, all sorts of stores, bread and a food market.
We could get wifi from the Walmart with our computers.
There was a good amount of traffic till late at night and early morning, pretty noisy street.

Report Check-In

A lot of RV in the streets near the walmart. Stayed in the Hanes street for 3 nights. Very quiet on evening and at night but really noisy in the morning (around 4:30) if you are close to the "Dick's lumber & building supplies"

Report Check-In

overnight street parking, no issues, check signs.

Report Check-In

Stayed for three nights inkl row on 3rd St just south of Walmart. Streetside parking, no limits, but some regulars said you need to move every day (only losely enforced with tourists). Pretty quiet. Level. Free. Wifi from and toilets in Walmart.
Get into town: 2km walk to ferry terminal or take bus 240 on Marine Dr north of Walmart. Bus 2.75, ferry 4.00 CDN$ (one-way). No vehicles over 10m. Good spot.

Report Check-In

Parking dans la 3e rue près de Walmart et centre commercial relativement tranquille. Bon plan. La Bougeotte.

Report Check-In

There are lots of people staying on the 3rd Street as well as MacKay Rd by Walmart in North Vancouver, semi-permanently or temporary. Walmart parking is part of Capilano Mall and haven't seen many camper in itself. Have seen quite a few people staying in Save-On-Foods parking lot at the back of the store, that is next to Walmart.

Report Check-In

There is a sign allowing 3 hour parking.

Report Check-In

Walmart in north Vancouver. A bit more quiet than downtown and just a 8 km ride in or out.
