Fantastic. Parked our van overnight dead-end roadway alongside marina. 10 feet from H2O! Great views. Office and marina closed this time of year. 2 cars came for Fri night “viewing” & left w/in 30 mins.
Report Check-InNo camping signs all over the place now. Staff said previous campers had taken advantage of the area and not treated it well, so completely closed to camping now and police come and do checks to ensure no one is staying overnight.
Report Check-InJust a big parking lot. WiFi is poor and it was quite a busy afternoon. Good for a break I guess
Report Check-Inarrived last night and had a great sleep. at lot of mosquitoes discourage outdoor relaxation. poison ivy just at the side of the parking spot, otherwise a nice place.
Report Check-InArrived at 6 PM and was told I need to be gone by 8PM. I think staff leaves at 8 so if
you arrive after 8 you would be okay. He said the paid campgrounds in the area complained when they let people stay there for free.
Nice place for a night. Free, nice view, quiet, free Wi-Fi and less mosquitoes than the other places.
Report Check-InA guard didn't us stay here :( But we find a better place in an indian reserve a few miles east, in Huron Lake.
Report Check-Inwe slept yesterday night and was nice . No body came to tell us to get off from the pier. Also the spot is pretty cool, great view .
