At the sandy lake shore | Wild Camping

Beautiful and very large sandy beach. Really nice place. As previous visitors reported, there are a lot of children, but there we're nice and left when it was dark. The problem in our case was that there were a few young adult men asking for money in a very demanding way, apparently drunk. They didn't left when it got dark and hung around just 1m of our tent and bikes until pretty late. They told us before that they will eat our food while we are swimming. Finally they left and there was no theft, but still we regretted coming here. Couldn't really enjoy the otherwise incredible beautiful beach.

Fantastic experience.
To get there we got through a village and asked for permission. Adults agreed no problem and millions of kids followed the vehicle and greeted us.
Then it was veeeeery hard to get them go back home, they stayed around us until night, no matter how many times we asked to be alone to shower and everything.
Apart from that it was awesome.
Sunrise on the lake, fishermen, nice sleep … good 4G signal …

Nice beach. No problem camping here, we arrived when the sun was already setting. Some garbage on the beach and be careful with your tent under the trees (prickly sticks!). Very nice to swim, water was warm. We had to push our heavily loaded bicycles quite a lot through deep sand but was definitely rewarding 😋

Nice place to stay. Drive between rice fields, then some sandy part and get to the sandy beach. Choose your place to stay. At the evening some friednly kids came, said to feel free here amd left. Night quiet, morning with beautiful view on the lake. Water perfect to swim if you are not afraid of bilharzia ;)
