Beautiful place right on the lake!
LNT
pack out your garbage & bring your own tp

Report Check-In

this is Sawmill Point Recreation Site, user maintained and free. boat launch and fishing too.

Report Check-In

Excellent view of lake. The 10 Sites are level and many are by the lake - will fit small to medium RV or trailers. Narrow drive in to campground! Two pit toilets that are clean. Stayed one night. Would say again.

Report Check-In

This is a free established campground by BC Trails and Rec Sites. Bit of a narrow downhill gravel drive but short. There are at least six sites. Mostly van size or smaller. One person does have a trailer down here so it can be done. Pit toilet but user maintained so bring your own TP. No garbage cans. There is one site about half way down that would fit two vans or smaller vehicles. Nice clear water on a lake if you want to swim. Many many mosquitoes. I spent 10 minutes mosquito hunting just from opening my van door and getting set for the night.

Report Check-In

Turned at the Sawmill Point Recreation Site sign and followed a single track road down to the campsites on the lake. Was easy enough to do in 4x4 Sprinter van, but good thing nobody was leaving as there is no possibility to turn around or pullouts for passing. Beautiful, very quiet spot right on the water. No permacampers here at this time. Had only one neighbor who went out to fish on the lake in a little inflatable paddle boat. Peaceful and idyllic. No cell service whatsoever. Picnic table and fire rings, but sign indicates no fires allowed. Too many mosquitoes to sit outside anyway unless you bathe in Deet.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place, well maintained, pit toilets were very clean.

Report Check-In

There was only 1 other rig when I got here at 1pm. took a nap, woke up to an RV right next to me. .in the spot I was in (last one by the lake). All other spots were still open. What an A. I can't with people today. Maybe this is one of those "permanents" andI had taken "their" spot?? I left, I don't need the spot that bad. I won't be back...there are WAY too many bugs anyway. No T- Mobile service.

Report Check-In

Fairly busy, but the lake is good for swimming. Looks like a few permanents.

Mosquito horror show!!
but it's a really nice place with a beautiful view on the lake.
Also for big rigs!

Report Check-In

Signposted from the road.
Long narrow track with two stepper sections.
Half a dozen spots with fire rings and picnic benches.
Beautiful views over the lake!!

Report Check-In

Free camping, 7 or so spots, 2 by lake are superb. Excellent place even with rain overnight not muddy and pit toilets clean:)

Report Check-In

very nice place, better than the other place one on the lake, we are 28 feet and it fits on some places, road is in good condition, small but ok

Report Check-In

Beautiful place, not muddy at all. Bit narrow road, maybe not for big rigs. No problem with our truck camper. Would definitely not trying to go down the road in winter time. Also kind of steep

Report Check-In

Road in was muddy and covered with snow and I got stuck part way down. Scout the road first in early season! Lake was also frozen. Stayed at pullout on roadside just South of turnoff to park.

Report Check-In

Excellent site, filled by early evening mid-week.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

A really great rec site with all you need! Sites are spacious and all include a picnic table and fire pit. I agree that it’s a favourite among the sites on hwy 37!

Report Check-In

Beautiful little place on the lake. Lots of mostly private sites spaces through the forest and lakeside. Very clean and none too crowded midweek. Might be my favourite site so far on the 37

Great free campground next to Dease Lake. Large lake.

Report Check-In

Really nice place. We were ready to stop and the serene scenery here right by the lake was wonderful. Pit toilets picnic tables. Pretty level sites too.

Report Check-In

It’s a formal free camping! Very nice lake shore. Picnic table, pit toilet and metal fire ring. Nice swimming if you don’t mind cold water. We just had a lunch but I recommend this camping if you are comfortable with a little bit steep road. A normal car or van can make it easily. Not for big ring.

Report Check-In

It's more a "informal campground" than a established campground. So the sign in iO should be charged.

Report Check-In

Another great campsite at Dease Lake directly at the lake. Amenities: Picnic tables, fire rings and pit toilets, level gravel sites. Easy access on a moderately steep gravel road. Quiet.

5 stars if it would have drinking water...

Report Check-In

Nice rec site! We got the last open spot on the water on a Sunday night in the late season so it's apparently a popular spot.

Report Check-In

Superb little site, am sure it's popular but still a couple of spaces left when we arrived at 6ish. go lakeshore if you can! tables, firepits, clean loos and ample space.
