We were not allowed to park at this place and also not to stay overnight with our big rig. it is a gated parking and costs according to the signs $1.
the guard told us to follow the road and park on the other side at parque paraíso. there at the back of the university and hospital we found perfect side street parking, see also other iOverlander post.

Report Check-In

Beautifull and quiet spot. While the night guard let us stay some park officials made us leave early the next morning. They did not even allow us to park during the day though there was lots of space in the lot. We have no idea why they would not even want to talk to us.

Report Check-In

Cool spot; weird security guard. He said it would he “safer” to park on the other side near the 24 hour guards at the local medical building. But as I walked there, the guards literally said “we only watch inside this lot” ... so if he tells you to go elsewhere, just stay put. This lot here is great and safe

great park to eat for few, to be with kids

Report Check-In

muy trankilo y seguro a la noche y movidos al día. wifi que anda aveces de la universidad. agua potable del parque y baños cerca

Report Check-In

The park guard called the police to dispel us. But the police did a 20 minutes discussion with them and told us 3 times this is a wonderful and save place to stay at Cuenca - and that they have a camera around the corner.
Even if we parked at the most distanced slot it was too noisy for us, as till midnight cars pass by even if it is a useless cycle road. Wifi got locked and only google services are available. In the morning the park has fresh fruit sellers.

Report Check-In

No security after 9pm. Talked to guard in the morning, he said the location on Avenida del Paraíso which was marked, is unsafe. The guards are only around the corner, on Pasaje del Paraíso, the North side of the park, just in front of the university buildings. Internet is supposed better there too; best on the back side of the buildings (follow the road), but again no guards at night so not recommended.

The guy was pleasant rnough but wouldn't let us park here as we are apparentlt too long (6m). He directed us to another spot at the far end of the Uni where the wifi didn't reach and it was an even longer walk into town, so we left and went to the town centre car park instead.

Report Check-In

great place for the night, free wifi, toilets in the park (0,15cent, closed at night), drinking water in the park.
But, be aware that during the week the parkings are for the students and you will be sent away early in the morning. And there was some sort of aerobics on sunday morning directly infront of our car.
Otherwise great spot.

estuvimos 4 dias, de noche muy tranquilo, de dia hay mucha gente, para estacionar hay que ir despues de las 18 horas para encontrar lugar. Hay baños cerca y el parque es muy lindo.

We stayed here a couple of days... Excellent place!

Report Check-In

Good place to stay in the city. For big rigs: maybe you have to wait until it's dark to find enough space to park your rig. Quiet at night.

Report Check-In

Boondocking in parking lot with good wifi from university. Stray dogs in park, some barking. We parked in front of security booth, they said no problem and area secure.

Report Check-In

It's ok for big rig (our RV is 21feet).

Nous sommes restés 2 nuits. Très agréable le WE. Grand parc, animations, vendeurs ambulants. C'est le rdv des familles et nos enfants ont bien profité du lieu.
Wifi ok si on se rapproche de la faculté d'odontologie.
