Great views, restrooms with flush toilets and shower rooms that take quarters $0.50 for 4 mins. Water warm. Sink for dishwashing. Some electric and some primitive sites. All flat. $14 p/n for non electric. We stayed 2 nights. Great hiking.

Report Check-In

Spent one night, surprisingly crowded and cramped. Bathroom is small but clean. Some spots have electricity. Watch out for wet clay, some sites were flooded. Gorgeous views from any spot.

Only pit toilets in winter. Only one there, woke up to 3 different animal tracks around the car, pretty cool place to watch the sun rise

Snagged this site on a busy weekend at 5:15pm. There were 3 non-tent sites left for $12.75. Pretty windy and rain expected.
There are about 90-something sites here. The bathroom near my site is separate men/women flush toilets (3 stalls with lights). At least I’ll face no bulls in the morning! Saw a big horn sheep just after entering the park. ATT phone/internet seems ok.

Wonderful location, view is amazing
We spent 2 night
Pay showers
About 25$ for a non electric site per night

$40 for a site with electric, they have sites without. They take reservations up to 3 days in advance then it’s first come first serve. It’s some paved loops to park and the sites are very grassy. Beautiful place to watch the sunset! It was mostly campers and a handful of tents. The bathroom was very clean, didn’t use the showers. At this time the lower bathroom building was closed but the upper one isn’t that far away. Most of the people camping came in after 5pm. Very dog friendly!

I’d say 7/10 site, pretty close but showers, dump and looks out into the plateau and the formations. They messed up our site and we got a free hook up site ie staff is nice

Report Check-In

Managed to get one of the last spots for the night there, unfortunately no RV sites were available. Enjoyed the sunset but the heat was a bit much without shore power for my AC 😖 Was able to use the dump site which was a plus, but a word of warning, there are two potable water hoses, use the one NOT at the dump hole. Witnessed someone empty their black waste can then jam the potable water hose into their can to rinse 🤢

Lots of spots here inside Badlands. If you have a national park access pass it will save you some money. Bathrooms and water available. There's also a dump station and the water next to it is potable and you can take as much as you need. Typical campground otherwise and Verizon coverage is 2 bars LTE.

Report Check-In

great spot, nice views.
bathroom and showers are open.

Report Check-In

Great spot to get a shower, not the cleanest but the are hot (in season) $.50 for four minutes, $.75 for 6 minutes and $1.00 for 10 minutes. Four minutes is plenty.

Report Check-In

The only open campground in off-season is the group camp. Pittoilet, no hot showers.
