Nice field of grass, but there were a lot of ants. The toilets and showers were simple but functional. Saw some ara's flying over.

nice garden for campers behind the beach road. 3000pP. good wifi, toilets, shower. normally without electricity, but I could plug in because we have no Aircondition.
good spot to go to the waterfalls. Safe place. Our Son had a double room with Fan 20 USD. can recommend this place.

I camped on the beach and always went here for the showers and toilets. The people from the restaurant are super friendly and let you go to the toilet for free. The people from the hostel are not so friendly.. they want 500 even if you only want to go to the toilet. For the showers its the same price which i don’t mind paying and always paid in advance. But half of the time of showering there i got rudely disturbed by a knock on the door that i am using too much of their water or that they need to clean the showers right now. And after i got out of the shower they questioned me if i had payed en didn’t believe when i said i did. Do the restaurant is a big recommendation!! But the hostel not so much..

Great place to eat and you can camp in front of Coco’s right on the beach under the palms/trees. They have bathroom facilities for $1 USD. Good beach break surf spot.

So far so good in my camper van. Place seems safe. The woman at the house charged me 3000 col. That includes shower, bathroom and good wifi. No power. That's a pretty good deal for CR. I will edit this post if I get robbed later. But it seems the problems posted in 2016 are behind us.

We stayed here with our rof top tent and it was perfectly fine. There's a large grassy area for tents and a pretty decent area for cars/car camping. Good location, potable water, good prices at the restaurant. There was a guy during the day collecting money for showers and toilets that outside people can use and in the evening there was a guy patrolling the area as well. Loads of iguanas! 3,000 colones per person.

Owner will no longer allow you to plug in no matter how much you beg or are willing to pay, so we left. Such a shame as it is in a good location. Small parking lot for rigs, huge grassy tent area. 3000 colon pp for camping.

! They are selling security but it is not safe and later they will blame you if you got robbed and kick you out. Normally we wanted to camp at the beach, but they explained us that they have a security guard and it's safe to camp at there place. Also other guests told us we could leave all our stuff in the tent. So we decided to go for safety and built up our tent. They were not a bit welcoming at all and before we even really parked they told us we have to pay immediately and to leave tomorrow before 12 (check out) if we don't want to stay one night longer. So we built up and went to bed. At around 5.30 hrs we woke up from a little noise of the zip. We thought it is maybe a dog and opened our zip to the living area... And then we were like face to face with a stranger inside our tent. We cried immediately loud for help as we had our camera in the tent and the thief ran away with something in his hands. We tried to follow him and called for help. But there was nobody and nobody seems to care. Then after a couple of minutes the security guy showed up we ask him for help and to call the police. But only after several tries he understood. As the thief was away, we ran back to our tent to check what was gone. And with a torch light we saw that we were lucky and woke up right time before he had time to find any valuable things. We informed the security guy about it and another guy (in a red car) stopped and asked how the guy has looked like.We didn't sleep that night again. Next morning nobody asked what happened and also the police didn't show up. So we went to the lady in the restaurant which also works as the reception and asked her if she knew what happened last night. She said yes and seemed from the beginning very disinterested and defensive. She never said that she felt sorry for what happened. But the opposite. She suddenly said that before we came that has never happened like it was our fault. We asked at least to get the money back because they guaranteed security - but they didn't provide it. She explained that she is not responsible and will call her boss, but we had already had a shower and used the toilet. We went back to our tent and then another older lady showed up and told us we have to leave now. We traveled already 14 months in South America and were never treated so rude and disrespectful like this.

Beautiful spot right next to the water. 7000 col per night with electricity for 2 of us and a dog. Restaurant on site and many more to choose from in the area. Fast wifi. Not a huge area to park an RV but massive tent area.

On the esplanade within 50 metre of the high tide surfing here at Dominical clean facilities relatively quiet Feliciano is the manager we stayed 3 nights at 7000 c with electricity 5000 for 2 of us and our medium camper good value
