many pull offs but don’t camp in beach access parking as no camping signs are.posted. half moon pull offs
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
parking ordinance according to the website (see photo i posted) is specifically ONLY for RVs and RV style vehicles. Car camping according to this ordinance is still 100% fine 🤣 Guess the rich folks in the houses opposite didnt take too kindly to people stopping overnight
Report Check-Inspent one night at one of the parking areas and had no issues. as others have said, there is quite a lot of traffic noise during the day but it wasn't too bad at night. nice to wake up on the beach.
Report Check-InLike said above, several half moon turn outs. We found one that was parallel parking, which was nice because we could open our side van door right to the beach. Traffic was noisy during the day. Had the beach to ourselves though. Beautiful place to park and work
Report Check-InIt’s a pretty spot but right next to the heavily trafficked road. The noise from vehicles zooming past and also the occasional rocking of my van from the larger ones led me to move locations before going to sleep. Nice spot to hang out during the day if you don’t need a quiet atmosphere.
Report Check-InThere are three pull-offs that have parking that is removed from the road. We enjoyed one night there but met a couple who had been there for five nights and planned to remain there for a month while they got some work done. Good cell with AT&T. Clean beach but it was heavily damaged from Zelda and is being rebuilt.
