Nice spot 300m on gravel road from chena hot springs road, pit toilets, fire spots, picnic tables, two nice ponds with fish in them
Stayed there in winter, good for aurora viewing. Plenty of room, a view hidden spots for tents.
Did not say anything against overnight camping or parking, 5$ parking fee
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This is a lovely spot, but it is a FEE location for camping overnight as well as day use. It can get quite busy (loud) on weekends with locals from Fairbanks as well as folks with side by sides and hunters driving in/out. Road is very rough on way in, bathrooms nice. Pack out your garbage, and please respect those around you and after you esp considering what the next folks will have to contend with if wildlife get accustomed to cleaning up after you and your catches and fire pit which didn’t burn everything you thought you might burn. Please keep wild places wild so we can all enjoy them

Nice place to hang out for a day. A little bit of road noise. We found high bush cranberries here.
