Takhti Tepha mud volcanoes | Tourist Attraction

Mud “volcanos”—these are really small. The drive and setting are gorgeous. The road might be muddy in places after heavy rains.
We camped at adjacent beautiful picnic area (no facilities, just bench with roof)—very exposed on hill (no trees), might be a problem when windy.

As stated before. You need entrance ticket.

Cool place to visit, sand tracks and gravel roads full of holes to get there. (about 2,5 hours from the visitor centre).

About a dozen of small mud vulcanoes. Very cool natural phenomenon. There is a place to picknick.

We camped on the way back at the lake. Nice for a swim and you can fish there.

Because it's part of Vashlovani you need to het first your permit at the visitorcenter in Dedopistskaro .
beautiful road to here. In case of rain you need 4x4.
Think it's also possible to camp here. we didn't do it because to much wind.
