Nice camp but can be difficult for big rigs because there are low trees. We found only one place for our 3,50m high. No swimming pool.

Report Check-In

Small, well kept campsite, neat ablutions, small shop.

Very pleasant small camp but quite crowded. A family of warthogs live inside the camp and you can also see bushbabies at night. Good internet with Vodacom. The region was amazing for wildlife viewing at this time with cheetah, leopard and lion sightings just a few kms away from camp.

This was a good starting point for Kruger. We hadn’t intended on visiting Kruger but COVID-19 has us overhauling our plans. Campground was pretty simple, clean group ablutions, easy to head into the park on an early game drive.

Report Check-In

Well organised, clean ablutions, kitchen. Ideal to start off or end up in the park. 1 night should be enough 2 max.

Small camp by gate. Great place to stay to get early start. Camp gates open at 4:30 this time of year. Enjoy Bush buck and a bush baby in camp. Nice shop.

Campsite was ok. It’s a dirt parking lot! They have grills and a kitchen with stove tops as well as dishwashing sinks! Kind of amazing! Bathrooms were clean! Slightly pricey because you have to pay a 22 usd conservation fee per person per day as well as the 20 usd campsite fee.

A smaller camp, the ablutions are a little bit old with only one shower at the woman side...
Paid R287,85 for 2 people p night.
Here also hyenas around the camp during the evening. And a pack of lions and rhinos around this area we could see every drive.

Report Check-In

Convenient site for an early start, gates of the campsites open an hour before gates of main park and so during summer that means you can be driving from 4:30am in park.
It's a small site and we were told at gate on entry that we had got the last campsite, however, the site had at least 4 other places we could have parked/camped.
We had not booked this site prior to arrival.
Had superb wild dog pack sighting at 4:50am on S25
visited end November 2016
