This is a free camping in rv/bus/van spot . You can park here 9 days. There are no parking signs painted on the wall but they are no longer in affect. It’s In the factory district so there are passers by and lots of vehicle traffic. Very dangerous you can get hit by drunk drivers

Report Check-InLOUD train at all times in the night, lots of traffic. Some homeless people around but they leave things alone, actually pretty cool people. Walking distance to the quarter. Bathroom access and water cups are mandatory for all businesses to provide free of charge while open, city law. Convenience stores that aren't super high priced are within walking distance. Gyms are not. Rebuild Center provides showers and laundry if you are poor and living in your van because you have to, also walking distance but it's further out.
Report Check-InHigh traffic (pedestrian, vehicle, train and boats). Great place to park and walk to the French Quarter
Report Check-Inlots of other vans, but be aware that we saw many needles while walking our dogs. noisy with trains, boat horns as they turn in the Mississippi and lots of day traffic and nos neighbors.

Report Check-Inreaaaally loud at night. don't know where the noise came from; sounded like a fireworks factory is burning. other than that trains, ships, cars^^ its new orleans :) but reeeeeally close to the city.
dirty & drugy too but seems to be save.
We have been there one night. Seems save but dirty. There are some permanent camper. Good place for visiting New Orleans.
