Description
The best place to relax in Uganda! Beautiful open house directly at the crater lake, bilharzia free so you can swim. Jasiek, the owner, is open minded man, who build this place with good vibes. He's polish, living in Africa since almost 20 years. You have access to open kitchen with spaces, gas stove, dishes etc. fireplace, hammock, everything you need. You can use also cottage with beautiful view on the lake. There is also a place for car with roof tent.
We planed to stay there only 1 night, but finished with 5 :)
30$ banda/cottage, you have to ask but it should be reasonable

No more access to the parking lot so not an option for campers or RTT, you can rent one of the unique wooden buildings (airbnb) and use the main house as your own, great staff that gets anything from the village you need and organize a boda boda to wherever you like to go
Report Check-InDespite all the outdated info and people telling us this place was closed, we were drawn to it from the onset.
We arrived 30min after the owner had decided to reopen the place and had the most incredible royal treatment.
We felt like family more than visitors. We wanted to camp but Jasiek gave us one of the cabins and charged us camping rates. No hot water but clean toilet and shower facilities; the dip in the crater lake was heaven.
we didn’t stay due to camping with rooftop is on the carpark with absolute no view.
Report Check-InNot so much for camping although you can be in the car park with a car and put tents on the lawn but this long standing unique accommodation is worth the visit and stay. Interesting wooden buildings with 2 levels with hidden corners and rooms, views over the forest he planted himself over 10 years and chilled places to rest for some days. Everything is open so you are very close to the outdoors all the time. A place to also ask to consult or meet traditional healers from the area. Recommended
Report Check-InNot big rig friendly. Narrow road with trees on the side. Difficult to turn around. Sharp narrow turn into small muddy (it was raining) no view, parking lot where you will have to camp if you use your vehicle. We didn't stay.

Jasio asked to contact in advance because he has quite a lot of guests from airbnb. But still if he doesn't have place for you he will surely help you to accomodate close to his place. We saw few and they're also very nice.
