Camping closed for renovations since last year so please check website.
According to the website:
June 26, 2021 – The swimming pool and day-use areas of the park are open. The rest of the park is closed for renovations.

Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Latest Check-Ins
Camping is open again $20 a night. All sites have electric hookup, paved parking and a sheltered picnic table. Decent spacing between sites but no shade or trees. However you have the awesome swimming pool right there to cool off. Bathhouses are spanking new and clean in the camping area.
Report Check-InWe needed a place to shower and kill some time so we stopped here. Showers were lukewarm, not hot and you have to continuously press a button for water. $7 per person entry, includes swimming in the artesian spring. currently limited to 900 guests so book online if you want to be sure to get in. Camping is still closed for renovations, so this is a day area only. closes at 7:30 pm. Trash cans and picnic area plus lots of grass. Dogs welcome on leash in the grass area, not the fenced pool area.
There is dry camping just a few miles away at Balmorhea Lake. $5 per person.
Report Check-InDoesn't offer primitive camping, so I turned around and am heading to Balmorhea Lake where I'm told there is primitive camping. 4.1 miles away. 🤔
Report Check-InState Park with beautiful natural spring water pool, picnic tables, bathroom and shower facilities. $7 per person intrance fee. Showers are warm, not hot. The spring pool water is 72-74 degrees all year around.

Report Check-InThe whole thing is closed for visitors now. There’s no sign on the highway saying it was closed so it’s up to you if you want to try it

Good spot for tent campers as well as more elaborate vehicles. The spring-fed swimming pool is awesome and huge.
