By the sea and an abandoned barge. Free. Amazing 360% views. This is where a tsunami wiped out Valdez in 1964. The city is now 5kms away. If in Valdez you must take the lulu belle boat glacier tour! Our best experience
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Have stayed here multiple nights... have had the police roll by us here... I think it is the best spot in the area... might just be the luck of the draw...
Report Check-InCamping is not allowed here anymore. I had heard you were not allowed to anymore, but did not see any signs and saw fire pits. However at 8pm a city official came by to notify me I could not stay overnight.
Report Check-InBeautiful setting. We stayed two nights (leaving during the day). First night extremely quiet & second night there was generator noise from a construction barge offshore. Best view in town!
Report Check-Innice place but we can not stay overnight! 9 pm came a police-officer and said: we can not stay for camping, wildcamping is not allowed in this city area, we can go to Glacier View area and we can stay there for overnight
Report Check-InYes awesome, even on saturday evening. Beautiful view on Valdez.
