Latest Check-Ins

YES, this pure sandy beach is BEAUTIFUL here. Not even much people on a Sunday. BUT I will NEVER drive on that last 1.5 miles straight into here. It was HORRIBLE & MISERABLE. Even going super slow, we felt like we were in a washing machine, on SUPER AGITATION mode. This part is NOT smooth coming in any more as previously described. I don't know what changed it, but its THE WORST section of sandy "road" I've ever had to cross.
If you come here, make sure to take the direct "road" to Playa Muertitos. (Its a lil less miserable & seemed shorter) It was still the 2nd worst road I've EVER traveled. Then just use the road that skirts the beach, here.
These are some beautiful and isolated beaches here, but I will never go thru that again.

Really bad roads to get here. unless you are ready for some serious teeth rattling, not worth the effort. There are much easier places just as nice.

This beach is labelled El Saltito on google maps. The road direct to it is best. Many small cars drove in that way. Good parking area but very easy to get stuck on the beach.

Report Check-In

road is pretty washboard and rough in places. Very windy and choppy water.

Stayed one night in the parking area with no issues. Just walk over the dune to the beautiful white sand beach. There is a garbage can but no other amenities. Free!

We didn't spend the night because we was alone and would not taking any risk because of other comments on this app.

This is a beautiful clean beach. The last 2 miles from the pathed road are bumpy and in some parts small. We recommend to take the most left path to Baya el Muertito and than follow the road which lies behind the beach. Beautiful clear water and some leveled sites a bit back from the beach. No 4x4 needed to get here.

very nice place, quiet. we park on the far south of the beach. Good snorkeling in center and north of beach. we park on the center of the beach in the day, and get robbed when we were snorkeling. 3 youngs adults park on the sand did it, we should have wait for more peoples to be on the beach before going in the water. Anyway we found our belongings (... passport) in the back of the beach except 2 cells and money.
