beautiful spot, tranquil with an amazing sculpture garden. well worth stopping over to see. the gardens have been replanted with local species and profits are used to train local artists, rewild the local environment and for a local health centre. Damian Hirat and other international artists have visited. not to be missed.

Nice sculpture garden and art for sale. Cafe is affordable. They are building new facilities.

Would be perfect if they could build a campsite on the premises as we were told it is big (100 hectares) and up to the Rwenzori mountains.

Very friendly people even though we only bought a bitter lemon.

Popped in for a visit and a brief look around. Very nice sculptures but no cafe. We were looking forward to the coffee and biscuits ;)
Stunning setting!

Came here out of curiosity due to previous reviews and did not regret! This place has a magic atmosphere. It is an former cotton plantation turned into some kind of botanical garden with scattered, huge, beautiful bronze sculptures. The indoor gallery shows small, "affordable" pieces of bronze casting art. The place is very clean and fresh with enthusiastic personnel. You get real French Press coffee from the surrounding valleys here with home-made, rich biscuits. A tour showing the premise and foundry costs 10 USD.
It is a team of Ugandan, British-trained bronze casting artists. They are eagerly re-introducing native trees and trying to rebuild parts of the ecosystem and also teaching the locals in sustainable agriculture.
