was super stoked to find a place so close to town only to find a sign posted saying no overnight parking/camping. maybe it’s not a big deal but i didn’t risk staying here and found a spot elsewhere.

Report Check-In

No camping/overnight use sign posted on board. (One pickup camper was there though when we drove by)

Great overnight spot. Quiet and Clean. Mtb/ hiking trails. No bathrooms, no water, no power. Good cell service

Report Check-In

no overnight parking or camping allowed.

Closed as of right now. Not sure if it is because of the wildfires or Covid but this spot along with the entire road up to Shasta Mountain is closed off.

The road to the trailhead was closed to the public.

Small parking lot at the beginning of a trail head. Sign that says no overnight camping in the parking lot.

I got here at about 7:30 pm, and there were just two other vans. I had no troubles here. It was fairly quiet and felt safe. I woke up and hiked the trails for a couple hours, and it was beautiful!

not as big of a parking lot as I thought and not as close to town as I thought. Definitely not a camping spot, fine for overnight but not for big rigs or tents.

Report Check-In

Mt. Shasta trail. Trailhead parking lot. Free parking available for small or medium RV, we did not spend the night, neighbors are very nice, I guess if you ask you can spend the night, looks quite, safe.

Mt. Shasta trail. Trailhead parking lot. Free parking available for small or medium RV, we did not spend the night, neighbors are very nice, I guess if you ask you can spend the night, looks quite, safe. Great signal, T mobile. Very nice trail, about 1 mile, 45 minutes. Very nice ****

Looks like this is a nice spot. There is a small sign in the parking lot that says “No Camping Here” so we are going to honor that. It’s a small sign though so if you stayed and anyone said anything you could feign ignorance.

it's a pretty flat parking lot at base of trailhead. it's a great trail. I stayed 2 nights, but beware if you have an RV. there are a group of regulars and they said I was taking up to much space.
otherwise it was a great spot.

Report Check-In

Small, dirt, fairly flat trailhead parking lot. No toilets or water here. Perfect, quick and easy spot off the road to call it a night after a long day on the road. Very quiet and safe. We arrived at 1am and there were a few vans also parked there. Left at 10am with no disturbances.

Report Check-In

Rolled in around sunset and had a nice quiet night. Lots of mtn bikers early in the AM, rode the trails ourselves and it did not dissappoint! Best part, 4G LTE service. We'll be back!

Report Check-In

Quiet trailhead. I saw deer. A few other vans parked. Great service

Report Check-In

Super chill spot as close to town as you can get without being in town proper. Little trailhead super nice mountain biking spot. The base of Shasta parked here two nights and noticed a couple other vans too 👍🏼 you still get LTE service too.
