Friendly rangers. Had to register and we camped at this beautiful spot. Cold showers and clean toilets are 5min walk away near the lake shore. Pit toilet next to parking. Camping tables with benches, firepits and water taps at the campsite (but you have to park a few meters away). Recommended!

Report Check-InParque nacional libre. Hermoso lugar, hay baños, parillas h mesas!
Hay varios senderos para hacer, parque muy agreste!
No hay señal (aveces engancha en el lago).
Best place in area, free, vs $20 USD per night at Teros Ranch just a few km East of here. Water, clean bathrooms, picnic tables, grills, and hiking trails.
Report Check-InNice picnic and grill setups in sheltered grassy area. Wood heated showers and toilets down by water but you must cart your wood down there to use it. Gorgeous lake and mountain views at stony beach. Free but must register with friendly park rangers when enter.
Report Check-InLugar espetacular, dentro do Parque Patagônia. Acesso gratuito, somente pedem os dados e placa do carro para controle. Banheiro com chuveiro quente ( precisa fazer o fogo ) churrasqueiras e mesas cobertas e agua. Não tem energia.
Report Check-InSpent here one night (Tuesday to Wednesday). Just wanted to add, that pit toilet and bathrooms at the lake were really dirty this time, we couldn‘t use them. Guess it depends on who was at the campground before. The toilets by the rangers were nice, though.
Report Check-InThanks to iOverlander we found this wonderful place in the heart of nature. Very quiet, close to the lake with several „senderos“ around.
Report Check-InWe spent here 2nights. First was quite, have been almost alone there. Second (Friday) lot of locals came for party and night fishing. But it was still ok. Didn't use the pit toilets but new ones closer to the lake-clean. Camping for free. 4-5 BBQ spots.
Report Check-InNice campground. Clean toilets, we did not tried the shower. Lake is really beautiful and nice for swimming. Rangers are very friendly. Sadly no time to hike in this part of NP Patagonia, but there are multiple hikingtrails close by. FREE
Report Check-InVery nice camp ground, bathrooms are super clean and you can enjoy hot shower if you get some wood and fire it. The rangers are super nice and welcoming and can tell you everything about the park. Spent the night at the parking space next to the camp spot with our rooftop and it was calm, wind was ok thanks to the trees around. Many places for tents. A lot of rabbits and birds around, especially in the evening. Pretty sunset at the lake. Free but make sure to register with the rangers at the entrance before going to the campground.
Report Check-InAmazing place… windy yes, but the toilets on the beach are very clean, campsites really nice too. No electricity. We were there with a big rig and manage our way through up to the sites easy. Lots of big rabbits, sun warming up in the morning. If you want a shower, you need to put a fire at the back of the toilets and you will get some not too cold stream after an hour of fire. Really cool place in such a harsh environment…
Gate was closed at the road but we managed to pass it as not key locked.
E um lugar muito bonito, bem arborizado, venta um pouco. Há algumas churrasqueiras, muitas árvores e bem próximo ao lago. Ficamos aqui uma noite.
Report Check-InAmazing spot! Friendly and helpful rangers, nice day or multi day hikes, direct access to the lake which was warm enough for a dip. Campsite with pit toilet close by and "real" toilets by the beach. Everything is well maintained and if you collect some firewood you can enjoy a hot shower. 3 sheltered spots for tents with water and BBQ. Campers can stay on the leveled, grassy parking lot next to the tents. Wifi next to the ranger station. And everything for free! Unfortunately they aren't allowed to accept donations.
Report Check-InNice location !
Not as wild as it could be but beautiful view at 200m. But sheltered from wind.
New buildings with flush toilets and hot showers at 200m (direction to the lake). At the camp, one pit toilet.
Completely free. Nice and welcoming rangers.
Quiet during the night (even the weekend).
Please register at the ranger's place before 20:00 along the road. See the other point on the map.
One of the best "wild" camping that we did. Not completely wild as it is a campsite, but it's completely free! There is new toiletbuilding with clean brand new toilets and even cold showers. We were the only ones. Stayed in a rooftoptent and had no problems with the wind as there's shelter from the trees.
Report Check-InWe stayed 2 nights. There are 3 camping areas, the one close to the lake is the one with the best access road. Got our 6m/2,60 high camper through with no trouble. It‘s a narrow-ish alley with low hanging branches so would not recommend it for big rigs. Camping areas are catering for tents but the car park offers enough space for a camper. New building with toilets and cold showers overlooking the lake, 3 min away from the car park. It was very windy but the trees give some shelter. Went for a great walk from there to Cerro La Calle, 18 km return and well worth it 👍 By the way, the rangers are super friendly and give you heaps of information about the area.
Report Check-Inthere are 5 fire pits with a table. you're not technically supposed to camp at a site, but it the back in the grass. we were here on a Sunday night to Wed morning and got away with claiming a site since it wasn't so "busy." we had a school group of 20 kids stay Tuesday night... another group arrived Wed morning as we were leaving. might just be the week with the school year ending, but obviously not very enjoyable. we were told on Sunday before we got there a little before 8pm that there had been 150 people at the campsite. locals use it for grill outs. seems like weekends would not be a good time to go.
reception is open from 8-20:00. there is a pit toilet at the site. real bathrooms are under construction. they're near the lake. we were using them and even showered before the water ran out on wed morning. not sure that that was allowed as we were not told about them, but there wasn't a lock.
no charge to camp or for park entrance.
Still free, the campsite is a few steps away from the lake. No toilets or bathrooms, only one source of water, some fire places and tables for eating. The small parking lot is separated by a low fense from the huge camping area. Very windy and I didn’t find it well protected but okay. We were completely alone and had a calm night there - recommend!
Report Check-InAbsolutely worth it, very nice spot we found thanks to iOverlander. The place is magical, very close to the lake. We were all alone, so the night was peaceful except for the wind :) definetly recommended, but with a good tent because of the wind.
Report Check-InVery nice place next to the lake!! Very good wind protection and the ranger are very frendly.
Opening hours from 9h to 19h (in low saeson)
See the picture for more information and for the phone number
Awesome place, even open in winter! Plus free tractor-servcie if you get stuck on the road and have to be pulled out (which only happens if you're stupid like us since it's a good road :D)
Report Check-InReally great stop between Perito Moreno and Los Antiguos! Beautiful Estancia with very friendly Rangers. Camping área very close to the lake. A bit protected from the wind by trees along site. Camp toilet available near campsite or real bathrooms available near ranger station. Great option! We loved it!
Report Check-InNo lake views from camping.
Still free and toilets still under construction.
Sites are not accessable by car. so car campers need to sleep on the parking next to the camping.
Access road is overgrown by trees.
Our 3.0 m high wicked overland pickup could just fit but we had to offroad the first part. So big rigs will not fit.
rangers came to register us
Report Check-InYes nice camp site. 4 or 5 tent areas with wind protection and fire pit. They were full when I got there bu was able to go part next to the camping to sleep in my truck
There is a cool tree tunnel to get to the sites. Low branches though.
You need to check in at the buildings when you pull in. There is a white gate and sometimes cones on the road when they are open. Maps.me could not rout pe me here. Just go to the other camp on iOverlander. It’s the same, there are two areas. Near buildings and this one.
Sunday the fire pits filled with local people cooking and enjoy the day. But it was a relax place. Even well it was full it was normal quiet for a campground
Report Check-InA couple of fire shelters, trees to protect you from wind and toilets (in construction as 30/01/2019
Close to the lake and nice views.
Did we say it is free??
Rabbits all around as free show
