Latest Check-Ins

Nice area in the woods under Long-Leaf Pines, lots of room, easy access.
The best spot is for a small vehicle on the peninsula in the middle of the pond, high and dry on sandy soil. 2 ways to get there, one narrow trail from the main area and another one through the Base camp Donut. 4x4 recommended for that one, the others are 2x4. The songs of frogs and alligators lull you to sleep, the songs of the birds wake you up, very peaceful. Ok cell service.
Be aware of the occasional Poison Ivy growing along the shore.

Large, semi-clearing in the forest, with an easy gravel/sand road in. No established campsites, but there are at least a dozen different old campfires and room for more. I stayed on a Friday and Saturday and never saw more than half a dozen cars at any one time, and only a couple other overnighters. There's a small pond and some hiking trails, I went a couple miles and then turned back, so I don't know where they lead. There's some trash in a big pile, at least a dozen trash bags and other junk, but otherwise it's fairly clean. 2-3 bars AT&T, enough for YouTube, and only one bar of 4g T-Mobile.

I liked this spot - big grassy area but you can find private spots too. Trash wasn’t bad but I certainly found some to pick up and pack out. Only downside for me was lack of Verizon service (I could text sort of). I felt like the place was legit and so rested well.

The POW camp has a good compacted road in with very little dips here and there. We stayed 5 days in our 39ft 5th with no issues. We only saw three people the entire time and one of them was there before we even got there.

Very quiet. Dogs loved it! Short trails for morning walks. Fire pits are messy and everywhere. Lots of garbage. Would recommend for a free overnight... or two.

Nice Rest- up place. Visitors are kind, but will leave you alone as well. Lots of trails. Lake with an alligator and not too many fish. If looking for fishing, my advice would be to try nearby creeks and streams. pet friendly. Lots of trash.
