This place has no cell, so make you copy the directions down .campsite are about 1 mile on a gravel washboard road . There are plenty of firepits , don’t take the fist one . Drive in a ways , it gets prettier . This is place is OHV friendly so you might hear somw brrraappp , see horses , hiking, bikers . At night it was super quiet. Maximum stay is 14 days
There is a kiosk with forest service maps showing the areas to camp. Turn north up road 223 and there is a pit toilet. Continue past and there are a lot of campsites.
Report Check-InBLM land in the Pike NF mainly used by atv and uhv enthusiasts. camping is allowed at designated dispersed sites up to 14 days. big open flat areas for trailers and tents alike. road is rough in spots but very accessible with a 2wd car. no amenities, only rock fire rings. stayed one night.
Report Check-InRecent snow made the roads a bit tough for me and couldn’t see many fire rings, but still a gorgeous spot. We pulled just off the road in front of a field. Overall gorgeous. Road was a bit bumpy
