Came across this spot by chance. It’s a “wild” camp spot. No toilets. Fire ring and nice setup for tent camping and van lifers. Would not be great for RVs. Close to the road but very few cars at night. The path to the side leads to another tent spot with a fire ring. Saw a herd of Elk on the way in. Really quiet other than the sounds of the flowing river. Free. Beautiful view. We would come back. You can access the river by going down one of the paths on the right or left. Climbs for the able-bodied.
Solid 2 bars with Straight Talk Verizon

An amazing spot tucked just off the road. The river has been eroding the bank, which sat 15 feet from the water, so stay toward the trees. Some rocks make a fire ring. Beautiful view of the snow capped Olympics. Muddy spot, but it was fine for me.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot! Quiet through the night and a great place to spot some wildlife and have a swim in the river! We saw elk, a bald eagle and a black bear across the river!
Report Check-InLots of great spots back on this road! Easy pull offs and not too muddy even when raining.
Report Check-InVery quiet site along river. Road is just before bridge. Would be tight for 2 vans as only 1 small level spot.
Report Check-InNice spot along river, not terribly busy. Like how previously described.
Report Check-InLugar perfeito para acampar e dormir. Tem acesso ao rio e espaço para fogueira. Nos temos um School bus de 24f e foi tranquilo de estacionar. Deixamos um espaço seguro do penhasco.
Perfect place to camp and sleep. It has access to the river and space for fire. We got a 24F school bus and it was quiet to park. We left a safe cliff space.
Report Check-Inreally nice spot with good view of the forests, mountains and the Hoh River below. to the right there's a small trail which leads to a small opening with another fire ring. someone put a neon green rope tied to a tree for easier access down to the river. like others mentioned don't park too close to the edge...not stable
Report Check-InPrevious descriptions are accurate. 2 bars Verizon LTE. I would recommend backing in if you’re over 21ft, especially given the cliff edge.
Report Check-InDope lil spot! Description as previously stated. Now I live in the rainforest on a river surrounded by mountains!
Report Check-Ingreat spot. view is 10/10. if your looking for river access it's not the best. Very close to the park entrance.
Report Check-InAs described, great spot for a quick overnight before hiking in the Hoh
Report Check-InThis place is sweet. Road noise like others have mentioned but between the river and waterfall, it mostly gets drowned out. Incredible view. Careful near the cliff though, it's overhanging and unsupported near the edge.
Report Check-InNice spot, though very near to road with moderate daytime traffic. Established fire pit looking right over the river and to the mountains - beautiful! I set up my hammock among the ferns just south of the parking spot. Note that this is on a cliff overlooking the river; you must hike a ways through the ferns to get to the shore.
Report Check-InScouted this spot, didn’t stay here. Looks like a cool spot for a small to mid size RV or smaller. On the bank that’s started to give way, and alongside a nice loud creek too (in mid-May).
Report Check-InAs described, this was a great little spot for the night. We even had a nice cold dip in the river. Some toilet paper around unfortunately, please keep this clean for others to enjoy.
Report Check-InStayed one night until noon the next day. Farther from the road than a simple pull off. Lower than the road too, and in a curve, so almost unseen. Traffic is light, even during the day.
Nice view of river (from little cliff) with snowy mountains in the background.
There’s space for two tight vans, but maybe not in the best position since it’s in a slope.
Pick up your toilet paper, please.
