Nice primitive-type park between Marble Falls and Austin area. All the campsites in the park are next to the riverbed but the water was about 200+ yards away from our site (#16) due to the water level being so low. There are no showers in the park but there decent bathrooms with running water and flushing toilets by the front gate. We saw one porta-potty in each of the areas where there are clusters of campsites. Our site was far enough from the next one (#17) that we couldn't see or hear them. There's oak and whatever other trees in the site that provide shade all day. There was a good fire ring, a BBQ grill on a pole, and a picnic table in the site. This site has a circle road through it so you don't have to back in or out.
Report Check-Inprices are higher now 5$ daily use, but for camping 25$. noone was at the entrance, I did pass trough, I think everyone else I saw didn't pay either. that's probably till virus situation is fully over. Either way, once you get closer by the river there r several spots to park at with table, fireplace and grill. restrooms back by the entrance and one plastic cabin by the river. beautiful view and georgeos sunset.
