Amazing campground with spectacular views. Spent 3 nights. Great campground hosts, very friendly. .$20 a night water and sewer and bathrooms. No showers.
Report Check-InLarge flat spots. Running water and sewer. I could not get a cell signal (Visible/Verizon) but a new cell site is going in right now so maybe there will be service soon.
Report Check-InThere is no electricity... Actually there is 4 or 5 sites with electricity but they are exclusively for the campground host.
Report Check-InImmaculate campground with flat, level and groomed sites most of which were quite large. Suitable for any size rig. Clarification tho: $10 discount is for seniors or national parks access pass for disabled. I made the mistake and was quickly called out. Verizon 3G was pretty consistent and allowed me to get some work done. Very friendly neighbors. Quick bike ride to the tourist trap town. Live music. Okay food.
Report Check-InCurrently free. Only 1/3 of the sites are open, and is still very empty. All sites have sewer and water, but the ones with electric are all taped off and their electric boxes locked. No camp hosts, a few open bathrooms, and very quiet. The paper on the site posts are not reservations, they are the rules of the campground on paper.
Report Check-InAt this time, free camping with sewer and water in a campground setting. Variety of spots, all level and clean. Bathrooms are open. Three minutes from Canyon Lake, which is gorgeous.
Report Check-InNice national forest service campground with sewer and water hook ups at each site. Open October thru March 31st. $20 per site ($10 for seniors or national parks pass holders.) Also has a dump station on the property one could probably use without charge. Close to cute old town with bar/restaurant and general store. Also close to Canyon Lake. Great At&t/verizon cell signal.
Report Check-InAs said before very nice located park, $20 a night. Because of a very heavy thundestorm which brought lots of rain many of the sites got badly damaged by landslides. The upper Sites 1- 29 are all closed and several of the sites further down as well. Clean up is under way but can take some time until they can be used again. Still very beautiful.
Report Check-InDidn’t actually visit this place but just as an update, the forest service site now has it listed as $20/night
Report Check-InReally great spot for tent and car camping. The bathrooms are very clean and the road into the park was curvy and beautiful. Was $12 a night at the self pay kiosk. We arrived at 1am the first night and there were many spots still available.
Report Check-InStayed two nights.
Nice place with some local hiking. The other campers seemed to IGNORE the quiet hours for their generators with some running all night. The camp ground hosts did not seem to care.
