Going north, the place on the right of the bridge was busy....so we tried on the left ! We found this beautiful place with a gorgeous view. Quiet and wind protected. Go until the end of the track.
Really nice spot! Under a big tree with a fireplace. Well-protected against wind and rain. We were 2 Pick-ups with rooftop tent and one car with a normal tent on that evening. Lots of leveled ground. For big campers/caravans, the place might be too small.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
easy dirt road to get here is pretty narrow. dead ends at this pin in a tiny turn around. if the clouds clear, the view of the mountain and glacier is spectacular. just past the turnaround like 20 meters is a large concrete slab with room for several tents. disappointing the amount of people coming and going through camp but otherwise it's a nice spot.
update from the morning: as we were leaving a farmer had dug fence posts through the access road and was waiting for us to leave. by the time we had hit the bridge he already put poles in the dirt. this spot is closed forever.
Report Check-Inbeautiful place, we parked under the tree, you won't have the beach view bit you will see the lake and its very close.
Report Check-Inwhat a great place for cyclists 🥰. follow the trail until the and down to the beach. The view is awesome and if there is wind, it will stopp in the evening.
Report Check-InÓtimo local para dormir, abrigado de vento excelente para barraca de teto.
Rua sem saída logo no final da ponte.
Linda vista das montanhas congeladas e beira rio azul turquesa. Parece praia de tão azul 😊
Very nice place, we stayed at the end (for vehicles), no wind and beautiful view on the crystal clear water and the glacier, wauw! Another campervan under the big tree and a cyclist on the beach. Movistar 3G worked well. Véry quiet night, didn’t hear anything.
Report Check-InVery nice place with great views. Some mosquitos.
Accessible with any vehicle.
There’s multiple areas along the small dirt road that could be used for tents or vehicles. One is a large concrete area with tree cover.
Space for 2 vehicles at the very end, mostly flat.
There’s 2 small walking paths at the end (5 meters) that have concrete platforms that could be used for tents if it’s heavily raining.
This place is open! Really nice place and no problem to drive in with a truck of 3,20 high. We also stood under this big trees. Enjoy!
Report Check-Inconfirming all the above. Super nice spot, possibility of fishing.
Please don't leave more toilet paper and other, and if possible pick-up some ❤️

Report Check-InWe were here on 29/01/2022 and it’s open. It’s kind of a small street with different small beaches along the river (with glacier/bridge views). When we were there, there were also some tents and cars with rooftents. All the way at the end you have a spectacular view on the glacier! Best wild camp place we’ve had.
Report Check-InThis road is close now. You can’t drive in anymore but with a tent and bike will be o. K.
