Description

There's a pull out on the left side of Havasu Heights Road, maybe just a quarter mile off of Highway 95. There's quite a bit of space here (BLM land with a 14 day maximum stay), much of it is flat. Tonight there are about a dozen RVs camped here. Verizon internet is excellent here. AT&T and T-Mobile also excellent.

Report Check-In

As others have said quite a few rigs but plenty of space. Slept well.

Locals are assholes. They ride those old man razors all day long through the campsite. Absolutely zero respect for anyone. Dust EVERYWHERE.

Dump of a town.

Report Check-In

Small BLM north end of lake Havasu. 7 miles north of craggy wash.
There’s about 25 rigs here and it feels cluttered. Perfect for an overnight stay.
Great T-Mobile 5G service.
Loud highway noise.
Minimal trash minus the toilet paper soaked in human feces. Absolutely vile.

This is official BLM land with a 14-day camping limit. No services. This site is good in high winds and rain compared with other nearby boondocking areas, as it is in a little depression with small hills nearby. But it isn’t a wash, so little risk of flash flooding.

The road in is easy for a motorhome. Ours has super low clearance however, we didn’t drag our rock guard coming in.

There are vans, 5th wheels, trailers of various sizes, and motorhomes here today.

Close to the highway without much road noise. 2 bars AT&T.

great pull off area. quiet, far enough from lake Havasu to not be crowded. I got here after dark and it was easy to find a nice spot to back my van into.

Report Check-In

Great overnight 5 miles from I40, 8 east of CA-AZ line. Flat, gravelled desert, fire rings. About 20 rigs when I visited.

Report Check-In

It’s a pretty open space with lots of different types of rigs. Very much the “safety in numbers” vibe. I came on a Friday night so several people were up and at it fairly early Saturday morning to go ride dirt bikes and ATVs nearby. Night noise was light, stars were beautiful and everyone kind of kept to themselves. I’d stay here again.

Report Check-In

your average BLM land. high winds today, but high winds all over. space for about 30 in the main area and then another 30 about 1/4 mile in that is easier for vans or trucks or class B. 4WD not needed. about 25 rigs tonight.

no big rigs right now. not easy to maneuver in and out. there is a Love's gas station about 5 minutes up the road.

lots of highway noise.

good AT&T (cricket) reception.

Report Check-In

Busy area, easy access. Some road noise, but not bad. Verizon cell service was great.

Report Check-In

Same as everyone described. Felt safe. Good Verizon and ATT service.

Report Check-In

Great spot. More or less leveled and with plenty of space. We are about 10 vehicles right now. Beautiful sunset at night. We can hear the road nearby but did not bother us much. During the weekend there is more activity but otherwise it is quiet.
