Mr Hamid is a great person who works in tourism and speaks very good English. He can help you with the border crossing and with any other related issue (diesel, money exchange, paperwork). He and his friends even showed us around the city and invited us for an amazing dinner in a local restaurant.

Folks, please don’t be a sheep, Hamid is paid by Iranian government so it is his job to facilitate our crossing. He accelerated our Carnet process, thanks for that.
But please be aware that he is trying to push you to check into two hotels of his choice In order to get commission.
He badmouthed other options and if you follow his advice you’ll miss out on e.g. Sarboog Hostel which we utterly enjoyed.
Report Check-InNot a good advisor, he gave us fault information about the Sarboog hostel and he made us going to a very expensive hotel and we also paid alot for parking there. he constantly says trust me and gave us too many papers to see how he is popular!!! I don't know why he show off too much!!! he wasn't a trustful person for us but we had great time in Zahedan, we had a good guide and she show us everywhere.

Report Check-InHamid is definitely the best! He will help you with all administration works relating custom/border. Hamid is not a ‚fixer’, he is an official tourist manager from the government. He is a most friendly and competent person, well connected with authorities, and speaks an excellent English! You can ask him everything and he will help you.
Hamid would never ask for money for his services. But please do not misuse this. For us, it was a self-evidence to pay him a compensation.
Found mr Hamid @ the border, where he has an office. The most friendly guy that is only after your wellbeing. Even got SIM card from him and other usefull information. Do not cross the border without him !
