Mexico
For both we have paid 125 MXN/person, a good spot to cool down. X'Kekén has more stalactites, in Samulá you have more space to swim and more sunlight because the hole above is bigger.

here you have to pay for both cenotes.
the price rised from 125 to 225 mex. peso for both Cenotes. for locals from Valladolid still 125. like in Uxmal and Chichen Itza, the tourists are ripped off.
Cenote Samula alone is possible but entrance fee is 150 mex. peso.
you will find smaller, not so crowded and more beautiful cenotes for a good price value all over in Yucatan.
Report Check-InBoth Cenotes are temporarily closed.
Locals said they will open beginning/mid September.
We enjoyed the 2 cenotes, $125p/pp for both. Samula has a little bit more natural lighting, and X'Kekén has huge stalactites. There are quite a few vendors to walk through to get to each one. They are nice, but our favorite so far (probably because they were more dog friendly) was Kankirixche...
