Campground, Cabins and Lodging. Book online. At just $8 per person per evening for tent camping, we are right where climbers and hikers want to be. Indoor camping (provide your own bedroll) is $10 per person per evening. Indoor camping must be reserved online. This includes free Wifi (password changes inquire at office), games, and the hottest showers in the Red River Gorge.
The campground is the hub of David Terrill's business here in the Red River Gorge. Climbers affectionately call our main building that houses restrooms, showers, wifi signal, games, a small general store the "Hangar." You will see why when you arrive. It kinda looks like an airplane hangar. It is quite large.
For your convenience, we sell ice and firewood here on the premises.
We also have a convenient self check in process. There is a kiosk on the front of the building with envelopes that have tent tags. Place your money in the envelope, make sure to retrieve your tent tag first (which is a tyvek wrist band inside the envelope). Place the tent tag on your tent in a visible location. Staff will come around to check your tent tags. This allows you to arrive at any time.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Transitioning to new owner. No shower, toilet clogged, sink has debris, no WiFi. $8 per person. Not gonna come back till things settle down.
Report Check-InBy far my most favorite campground in the RRG area. Great amenities including restrooms, showers, and an outdoor pavilion with electricity and water access. The Hangar includes wifi, tables, and electricity access so remote working is absolutely doable here. David and the rest of the staff here have always been so kind and welcoming. Weekdays are quiet with your choice of campground to post up in, weekends tend to get busier as the grounds begin to fill up with scouts and climbers. A short drive to Miguels, premier climbing locations, and the Natural Bridge. We love Land of the Arches campground!
Report Check-InNice setup. Good facilities - bathrooms, shower, place for washing dishes and getting water. Several different areas to choose from for tent sites. Loved that they had recycling of cans and fuel canisters.
Report Check-InStaying here for the RRGCC Rocktoberfest! Good campground with plenty of space for cars and tents
