Description

small campsite in the nature reserve. 100 rand per person, including the entry to the np. ok abolution and nice green campsite, seems well maintained. office hour is 8 till 16.00. if you are late, just go there and pay next day. we were the only one on Easter holiday, no idea why. n2 is close but not too noisy and the farmers on the other side do some noise cannons against the moneys but stop at about 17.00. the hiking trails are worth it and next to the campsite but just outside the np there is a small lake with a pier, where the white locals came to jump in and have a swim, so seems to be save

Latest Check-Ins

Close to the N2. We could drive to the location with our Landcruiser. The truck is 2,8m tall with all the rooftop boxes etc. We arrived late but payed the day after 200R for 2 persons. Showers etc. are a bit old but everything works. A large kitchen is available as well. Perfect stay for a night and to see the nearby Canyon.

Report Check-In

We could not stay here as the way to the camp was too small for big rigs. Man low hanging branches make it impossible to get there.

Report Check-In

5 campsites on grass, small but clean ablutions, friendly staff. No access to the gorge with a truck due to small road, even the road to the campsite was a challenge because of low trees. We paid 90 ppn, children til 12 were free.

Report Check-In

Small campsite at a nature reserve with some nice walks and good views of the gorge. Cost 80 rand per person, 40 rand for children.
