Third time lucky today after going to 2 other campsites on the way from Solitaire, and not finding it suitable, this one hit the jackpot
Quaint campsites with own ablutions, kitchen sink and braai. Had to dip in the swimming pool as it was hot when we arrived. Greeted by some springboks and ostriches that roam freely
Restaurant and bar on site

Correction in my previous post, the WiFi cost is N$65 for 500MB. We had a very enjoyable stay and the hosts and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Desert Lithops (plants) display stunning and informative.
Booked for late dinner at restaurant- more limited menu than if had prior arranged but still 8 options. Lovely food.
Owners friendly, helpful and were good to their staff - which in turn meant they had friendly and engaged staff.

Friendly welcome from Frikkie. Chalets and 3 campsites. Little wooden iron hut with toilet and donkey boiler shower. Kitchen sink and small table. Restaurant on site. They offer light meals for walk-ins and booking required for 3 course meal. Beautiful setup, all well maintained and super clean. Highly recommended. Pd 190pp camping.

The place is decorated in such a cool place and the restaurant area is really nice.
The campground is cool and have the things you need. Donkey for hot water.

What a gem. 3 campsites with private ablution. Nice and cool swimming pool. Great restaurant with best service from Maryke.
A recommended stopover.

amazing restaurant. the vegetarian platter is to die for. probably one of the best and freshest salads we've had during our trip from Cairo to Cape. campsite was hot when we were there. great ablutions. everything is nicely decorated. 180ppn for camping. sodas are expensive. the staff is very friendly and helpful. recommended.

Report Check-In

3 campsites with spacious ablution, no power and not much shade, drinking water from the tap, very friednly and helpful staff, everything is decorated with passion, lovely refreshing pool and nice restaurant with very delicious food, lots of springboks came at night to the waterhole in front of the main building

Report Check-In

Three campsites, each one with its own (large) abblution block. Hot water after the stove is lit (which is done 1-2 a day on demand). Excellent restaurant, best food in Namibia we've had and very friendly owners. Pool is a big plus. Don't forget to wonder around the farm, there lots to see (such as the enormous lithops collection), a nice walking trail (3km) and a water hole where springbok and oryx pass by

Good stopover on the way to Lüderitz or Keetmanshoop. Camping is nothing special(bit overpriced $N230 p.p.p.n.) but the swimming pool is great and very welcome with the heat! We had an amazing 3 course dinner($N355 p.p.) at the restaurant from where you have a view at the waterhole. Friendly owners, worth a visit!

We planned to stay for one night, stayed for two. That says a lot about this place. Very friendly and welcoming owners.
Three campsites with own (hot and strong) shower and toilet in a small hut.
Very nice, clean and big pool. Grass area at the main house with tables and chairs.
Waterhole in the back.
You should eat here, the kitchen is high class. And this is no exaggeration, we are speaking 5***** class.
They put so much effort into making this place just beautiful. You will find everywhere some little funny details. Search for the reading corner for example.
However, this place is worth a stop, even if you don't want to stay overnight, grab a piece of cake and enjoy it.
Electricity and a shade shelter at the campsites are coming soon.

Report Check-In

Absolutely worth a stop. We were planning a quick stop but stayed for 2 nights.
It's remote, beautiful & peaceful.
There are 3 campsites each with its own rustic ablution facilities. Has running water, flush toilets & donkey boilers.
Highly recommend eating at the restaurant even if not stopping over.
You can go for a walk following the pointers (2 hours at ambling pace) & vidit their Lithop nursery.
We watched Springbok at the watering hole with our sundowners.
WiFi available at the restaurant.
The owners & staff were very friendly & made us feel welcome.

Report Check-In

The campsite has three sites with private clean ablution, placed in “shacks”. There is no power at the campsites, but that is compensated by the nice place and view. There is also a pool at the Lodge that can be used. If you have time, also visit the owner’s greenhouse with Lithops; small little plants the look like stones. They also have a nice restaurant at the main building with a beautiful garden: worth a visit. The Internet is only working properly at the main building; at the campsite the reception is poor.

Place with 3 campsites with private clean ablutions and privacy. Unfortunately no power for fridges at the camping site. Pool is nice and big enough to swim some rounds. Internet is good. Price is 230 N$ pppn. In our view a bit too expensive considering no power at the sites. All other very good.
